This is an exciting opportunity to join an established company within the thriving Renewable Energy Sector. We are currently looking to expand our work force and are seeking applications from suitably experienced and qualified applicants to fill a position for an Accounts Assistant to support both the Financial Controller and the wider Finance Team. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is looking to grow and develop within an organisation in a broad finance role in the renewable energy sector..
Location
Ireland ‐ Lissarda, Macroom, Co. Cork. (20 minutes from Cork City link road)
Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation of financial and management reports on a monthly basis.
- Recording of transactions in accounting system.
- Prepare accruals and prepayments for management accounts.
- Complete balance sheet reconciliations.
- Assist with weekly/monthly bank payments.
- Preparation of VAT returns.
- Assist with year-end accounts for audit and tax.
- General administrative support and other ad hoc duties as required.
Requirements
The candidate should have:
- A relevant accounting or business degree qualification.
- Energetic and driven.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with other members of the team and with external organisations.
- Competent in the use of Microsoft Office software.
- Ability to work under pressure and report to deadlines.
Appropriate training and guidance will be provided for the successful applicant in order to carry out their duties.
Remuneration for this role will be commensurate with the candidate’s experience.

We are currently looking to expand our work force and are seeking applications from suitably qualified and ambitious applicants to fill a position for a Grid Engineer to provide grid connection delivery, general electrical design, construction support, secure optimal grid connections and designing & support implementation of electrical infrastructure.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the energy design team to provide pre-feasibility studies and technical assistance during project inception, development, pre-construction, and construction phases.
- Developing and optimising grid connection solutions for wind, solar and energy storage projects.
- Seeking alternative network access solutions based on grid studies, including technical, legal and commercial evaluations across Ireland and UK.
- Substation and collection system electrical equipment sizing calculations and specifications and drawings.
- Grid code compliance design solutions and specialist studies.
- Co-ordination of design interfaces.
- Technical management of electrical contractors designs and equipment scope.
- Attend equipment FAT’s and site installation/testing of electrical equipment.
- Deliver grid compliance.
- Support the Project manager in the preparation of subcontract specifications, project tendering and acquisition processes by creating technical documents and checking documents issued.
- Interacting with grid regulation authorities and grid operators in their role as project stakeholders.
- Preparing grid applications and managing the grid application process.
Requirements
The candidate should have:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or related subject.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with fellow team members and with external organisations.
- Competent in the use of Microsoft Office & CAD.
- Flexibility in approach to working hours and travel as required.
- Full, clean driving licence.

applications from suitably experienced and qualified applicants to fill a position for a Project Design Engineer for renewable energy projects which span all stages of the project life cycle from feasibility to operation.

Responsibilities
- Assessing the feasibility of sites for renewable energy project developments using CAD & GIS software.
- Provision of technical engineering assistance during wind energy/solar energy/battery storage project inception, development, pre‐construction, and construction phases.
- Liaise with Local Authorities, consultants, and contractors.
- Undertake preliminary wind farm annual energy production calculations, and assessment of cumulative impact from nearby farms applying wake models and using either commercial or in‐house tools.
- Public relations including preparations for and attendance at public information meetings held in advance of project developments.
- Work on ad‐hoc project programmes and deliver to the highest standards.
- Occasional site surveys/site walkovers.
- Preparing engineering, site layout and planning drawings for renewable energy projects, and associated transport and grid connection routes.
- Aid in the preparation of design drawings and as‐built drawings of new infrastructure to EirGrid/ESBN specifications.

- Competent in the use of Microsoft Office software and CAD. Appropriate training will be given for other requisite software.
